Avani was born in India, in the State of Gujarat, and migrated to the USA at the age of 11 where she started growing up in the western culture. At a very young age of 16, she started helping out in the family business and grew the business to the next level. By the age of 21, she had owned and managed more than a dozen specialized candy stores and convenience stores in downtown Chicago. She later pursued her career in the corporate world and worked in various Fortune 500 companies. She then joined her father in this financial services company. Academically, Avani earned an undergraduate degree in finance with a minor in arts with honors from Elmhurst College.
